Según Revenge of the Fans y The Hollywood Reporter, la película animada Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge está en proceso.

Si bien una película de acción en vivo ya está en proceso para una fecha de lanzamiento de 2021, la película animada que está siendo desarrollada por WB Animation ya tiene dos miembros del elenco: Joel McHale y Jennifer Carpenter.

Joel McHale es conocido por su trabajo en Community, The Soup y The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale. Mientras tanto, Jennifer Carpenter ha hecho el papel de Selina Kyle.
