Nintendo announced today most Switch 2 accessories will experience a price increase due to “changes in market conditions” in the United States. Though the console and first-party games (such as Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza) will keep their originally announced prices, Nintendo stated there may be more products with possible price hikes in the near future.
Nintendo’s announcements comes as fans were waiting for a new pre-order date after the originally planned April 9 date was postponed due to tariffs announced for most countries.
“We apologize for the retail pre-order delay, and hope this reduces some of the uncertainty our customers may be experiencing. We thank our customers for their patience, and we share their excitement to experience Nintendo Switch 2 starting June 5, 2025,” Nintendo stated via its website.
Accessories priced below $100 are seeing a $5 price increase, except for the Joy-Con 2 Straps, which are only rising by $1. The Switch 2 Dock Set is the only item receiving a $10 increase, bringing its price to $119.99.

- Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 Controllers: $89.99 → $94.99.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip: $34.99 → $39.99.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 Straps: $12.99 → $13.99.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 Wheels: $19.99 → $24.99.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Camera: $49.99 → $54.99.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Dock Set: $109.99 → $119.99.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Carrying Case and Screen Protector: $34.99 → $39.99.
