Shadow Tactics: Aiko’s Choice is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series on December 6

Daedalic Entertainment has revealed that Shadow Tactics: Aiko’s Choice, the standalone expansion to the acclaimed Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, will be available for PlayStation and Xbox on December 6th, 2024. Following its successful PC release three years ago, this much-anticipated expansion is set to debut on current-gen consoles, though it will not be available on Nintendo Switch. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users can now preorder Aiko’s Choice with a 10% discount until release day.

The console versions will come in three editions: the standalone expansion ($19.99 USD), the Deluxe Edition (24.99 USD; the game along with two soundtracks), and the Ultimate bundle ($69.99 USD; Deluxe edition plus Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun game, artbook and strategy guide). After a successful PC launch three years ago, this highly anticipated expansion is making its way to current-gen consoles (excluding Nintendo Switch). PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S -players can preorder the game starting today and get a 10% discount up until release.

Developed by the renowned Mimimi Games, Aiko’s Choice builds upon the success of the base game, which has been widely praised for its deep tactical gameplay and immersive setting in Edo-period Japan. The expansion was a hit on PC, earning an impressive Metascore of 83 and a 93% positive rating from Steam users, while Blades of the Shogun continues to enjoy success on consoles as well.

Console players can look forward to the same heart-pounding, stealth-based strategy gameplay that made Shadow Tactics a favorite, now optimized for PlayStation and Xbox.
