Silent Hill 2 Remake PS5 Exclusivity will be in effect for one year

Via a new trailer, Sony announced the Silent Hill 2 Remake PS5 Exclusivity will be in effect for one year.

As seen at the end of the PS5 Immersion Trailer, the game will “not be available on other formats until 10.08.2025.” Though it’s been known that this remake was going to be exclusive for PC and PS5, fans did not know how long the exclusivity would last. It is still unknown what other platforms the game will be released once the exclusivity ends.

The trailer features the advantages of the PS5 starting with 4K, controller’s haptic feedback, 3D audio, dynamic lightbar.

Silent Hill 2 Remake will make its debut on PC (Steam) and PS5 on October 8, 2024.
