For the weeks of August 5-18, 2024, Nintendo continues to lead in Japanese game console sales, selling 127,197 Switch units and reaching a cumulative total of 33,591,319 units sold to date. Most buyers preferred the OLED model this time with 73,867 units.
During the same week, Sony sold 127,197 PS5 units, bringing their total lifetime sales to 5,952,126 units.
Microsoft continues to trail, having sold only 4,430 Xbox Series units during the specified week, with a total of 622,390 units sold to date.
