While Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe remains first in Japan game sales charts for the week of February 27 – March 2, 2023, three games made their debut to challenge the pink round hero.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, an action RPG game developed by Team Ninja, made its debut in 2nd place with 30,132 PS5 copies sold and 4th place with 17,699 PS4 copies sold for a total of 47,831 copies.
Rune Factory 3 Special is a remastered version of the 2009 Nintendo DS RPG/life simulation game Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon. Though the game has been recently released in Japan, it won’t be available in North America on the Nintendo eShop and Steam until September 5, 2023 (archive | screenshot).
Metroid Prime Remastered, a remake of the 3D action/adventure game Metroid Prime developed originally by Retro Studios, made its debut in 10th place with 7,960 Switch copies sold.
