After the successful launch of MultiVersus, the Smash-like crossover fighting game with Warner Bros. characters, the game has lost its popularity and has reached an all-time low of less than 1000 concurrent players on February 13. It’s a 99%+ drop in PC users since its launch on July 19, 2022.
The game achieved its all-time best in concurrent Steam player count with 153,433 users on July 27, 2022. However, the game reached its lowest player counts with 313 players at 10:00 UTC on February 13, 2023, and 296 players at 10:00 UTC on Feb. 14, 2023. The numbers indicate a drop of 99.796% and 99.807081918% respectively. [Update: Screenshots included].
This comes after the game developer extended Season 2 until March 31.
There hasn’t been a new character since the arrival of Marvin the Martian in mid-November.
Will MultiVersus return to its glory days? Stay toon’d.
