Naughty Dog announced the delay of The Last of Us Part 1 PC version until March 28 instead of the original March 3 release.
According to the developer, “these additional few weeks will allow us to ensure this version of The Last of Us lives up to your, and our, standards.”
PC releases for PlayStation-exclusive games have grown in popularity over the past several years. It seems like Sony has placed a high priority on creating the greatest port for these titles, as evidenced by games like God of War and Uncharted.
This comes after the immense success of The Last of Us live-action adaptation on HBO Max. Even Naught Dog has expressed the amazing achievement. “We at the studio have been completely blown away by the outpouring of love and support for The Last of Us these last few weeks.”
The Last of Us Part 1 PC version will make its debut 16 days after the end of Season 1 of the live-action adaptation which will air on March 12.
