Pokémon Scarlet & Violet started 2023 in first place with 135,627 copies sold in Japan game sales charts for the week of January 2-8, 2023. The pair of Pokémon titles has already reached 4,630,253 total copies sold.
Splatoon 3 maintained its second-place position, selling 56,579 copies for a total of 3,795,514 copies sold.
Just like in the previous reported week (December 26, 2022 – January 1, 2023), there were no new titles released for January 2-8, 2023.
