While the success of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet continues, two new titles made their debut in the Japan game sales charts for the week of December 19-25, 2022.
Fit Boxing Fist of the North Star is the crossover most people never thought it would be happening. The title brings the gameplay of Fitness boxing into the world of Hokuto no Ken along with a new battle mode. Though the game is now available in Japan, it will be out worldwide in March 2023. The game made its debut in 13th place with 17,832 Switch copies sold.
Meanwhile, the 3D action shooter game Earth Defense Force 4.1 for the Nintendo Switch made its debut in 23rd place with 7,998 copies sold. It’s the Switch version of Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair. In this version, fans select from four different classes to play in over 90 missions and 5 difficulty levels.
