The Nintendo Switch really outsold the competition in Japan game console sales for the week of November 14-20, 2022.
With the release of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, Nintendo sold a total of 145,803 Switch units. That amounts to That amounts to 78.8017835% of all consoles sold during the mentioned week. Many people prefered to purchase the Nintendo Switch OLED model by a large margin.
Meanwhile, Sony sold a total of 31,858 PS5 units achieving a 17.21821% in unit sales and 5,803 PS4 units, a 3.136333% of all unit sales, for a total of 37,661 units (20.35454667%).
In third place, the Xbox Series family of consoles is still way behind its competitors with just 1,373 Series X units and 154 Series S units sold, for a total of 1,527, which is less than one percent, especifically 0.82529% of all console units sold.
