Studio Onoma, aka Square Enix Montréal, announced it will remove its four mobile games from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The removal of Arena Battle Champions, Deus Ex GO, Hitman Sniper: The Shadows, and Space Invaders: Hidden Heroes, will take place on December 1st. Then, after January 4th, the games will no longer be playable.
The studio has already stopped the sale of in-game items but encourages users to make use of prior purchases before January 4th.
This statement comes three weeks after Embracer Group AB announced the shutdown of Studio Onoma. It was also informed then that some employees were to be transferred to Eidos Montréal.
Twenty-two days prior to the shutdown announcement, Square Enix Montréal had renamed itself Studio Onoma.
Square Enix Montréal had been acquired by Embracer Group AB some months ago.
It is reported that Eidos Montréal is assisting Microsft in the making of a Fable title.
