The Nintendo Switch OLED model regained the lead in Japan game console sales for the week of October 31 – November 6, 2022. This comes after the PlayStation 5 got first place in sales during the week of October 24-30.
Nintendo, as usual, landed in first place, this time with 74,895 Switch OLED units, 13,869 original Switch units, and 1,714 Switch Lite units, for a total of 90,478. That amounts to 83.346844% of all consoles sold in that week.
Sony, as on previous occasions, arrived in second place with 12,014 PS5 units and 2,663 PS5 Digital Edition units, for a total of 14,677. That’s just 13.52021% of all consoles sold that week.
Microsoft remained in third place with 2,663 Xbox Series X units and 450 Xbox Series S units, for a total of 3,113. That’s 2.867644% of all consoles sold.
