Electronic Arts announced today the Italian professional soccer team Juventus F.C. will return exclusive to EA Sports FIFA 23.
Under the new multi-year partnership, Juventus fans will once again see the players, the Allianz Stadium along with the club’s logo and kits in FIFA 23 and upcoming EA Sports FC titles. “Both partners are also excited to work across a number of lifestyle and cultural initiatives bringing new opportunities outside of football,” says the press release.
With the arrival of Juventus to FIFA 23 also comes the end of the relationship between Juventus and Konami for PES Soccer/eFootball. Juventus had a three-year deal with Konami.
Former soccer player Claudio Marchisio will become a FUT Hero, while current Juventus player Dušan Vlahović takes on the role of ambassador for EA Sports FIFA 23.
As a replacement for Juventus in FIFA 20-22, EA used the fake Italian team Piemonte Calcio. That team has now “ceased operations immediately.”
FIFA 23 will make its debut on September 27.
