Both Hello Games and Bandai Namco announced the survival and procedurally generated open world game No Man’s Sky is coming to Nintendo Switch in October 2022. The Switch version will be available physically at all retailers and digitally via the Nintendo eShop.
The sci-fi exploration game was first launched for PC and PS4 in 2016. It made its debut later on Xbox One in 2018, followed by a PS5 and Xbox Series X release in 2020. Since its debut in 2016, the title has received various updates to keep fans entertained. Fans can expect future updates also for the Switch version, a port once thought impossible.
“I think folks are going to be blown away when they finally get to play this game on such a tiny device,” Hello Games founder Sean Murray said. “It really is an entire universe in the palm of your hand. It has been a huge undertaking, but a very rewarding one for our small team, and I’m really proud of the result.”
A physical release of the PS5 version is also on its way.
