The very popular battle royale game Fall Guys will be free-to-play on June 21 and is coming to Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC via Epic Games Store.
With its debut on various other platforms, the game will offer cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms. Though the game is available already on Windows PC (via Steam) and PS4, the game will have its own version for PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Epic Games Store. On PS5, the game will run at 60fps at 4K.
People who have played the game already will receive a new Legacy Pack as a thank you from Epic Games and Mediatonic. In addition, no membership to PS Plus and Xbox will be required to play online.
Along with the arrival of the game to other platform, there will be a new season offering new levels, gameplay and costumes. Fans can already pre-register for Fall Guys Season 1: Free for All to receive more rewards. To get the pre-registration rewards, players can visit https://www.epicgames.com/fallguys/en-US/free-for-all-pre-registration and sign in with their Epic Games account.
Fall Guys is another game that will become free-to-play after Epic Games buys a game developer. Previously, Epic Games decided to make Rocket League free-to-play after it bought the original game developer Psyonix and planned to remove the game from Steam.
