Codemasters and EA announced today the start of the new era of Formula 1 with the brand-new title EA Sports F1 22 coming July 1, 2022.
With EA and Codemasters, F1 22 has more things to offer such as new hybrid cars for the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship.
Another first in the series is F1 Life, a “customizable hub to show off their collection of supercars, clothing, and accessories, earned via gameplay, Podium Pass, and the in-game brand store.”
Racing fans can pre-order now the Championship Edition for the ones who want “three days early access and a time-limited Miami inspired content pack.”
Formation laps, safety car intervals, and pit stops are affected by Immersive and Broadcast options. In Immersive, the races will be very challenging yet rewarding. Meanwhile, Broadcast lets users enjoy “the authentic cinematics that keeps players close to the action.” Owners of Oculus Rift and HTC Vive will be able to experience the game in VR “from right inside the cockpit.”
Another new feature in the game is Adaptive AI, which assists less-experienced fans in every race.
Other features that make a comeback are: Accessible menus, Practice Programs, 10-year Career mode and My Team. My Team gives players the option of selecting one of three beginning budgets: Newcomer, Challenger, or Front Runner.
