Nintendo announced today its mobile action RPG game Dragalia Lost will be shut down later this year.
The company made the announcement via the game’s website. “The Dragalia Lost main campaign is scheduled to reach its conclusion in July of 2022 with part two of chapter 26, the final and climactic addition to its long-running story. After the main campaign has concluded, service for the game itself will come to a close at a later date.”
“The Dragalia Lost team would like to thank each and every one of our players, past and present, for your love of and support for Dragalia Lost since its launch. It is our sincere hope that you have enjoyed your experience with the game from the moment you started playing it, and we will strive to ensure that you continue to do so for as long as time allows.”
The last set of new adventures is scheduled to arrive on March 31 at 2:00 p.m. After that day and time, there will be no new content updates for the main campaign and specific quests.
Dragalia Lost, developed by Cygames and published by Nintendo, was nominated for the Portable Game of the Year award at D.I.C.E. Awards in 2019. Since its release, it earned over USD$100 million as of July 2019. It was also the first Nintendo intellectual property released only for mobile devices.
