Today, Toei Animation announced the debut in Japan of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film will be delayed because of the hack to its company network.
In a post on the film’s website, Toei said the work has become difficult to produce and the studio is forced to postpone the film’s launch. The new film was originally scheduled for April 22. No new release date for the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film was mentioned. “We will announce the new release date in the near future, so please wait for a while. Thank you for your understanding.”
The hack occurred on March 6 and the announcement by Toei was made on March 11. Toei mentioned the hack affected the broadcast of planned, new episodes for One Piece and three other Toei anime. Instead of new episodes, episode reruns will be shown for the next few weeks.
