During International Women’s Day, Xbox announced the introduction of a mentoring program for women in gaming to connect aspiring talent with key leaders for 1-on-1 coaching sessions.
The mentoring program will start in eleven countries, including the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, and Korea.
Spain, Mexico and countries in Central and South America were not mentioned in this first round of mentorship. More countries will be announced eventually.
“With the program available in multiple markets kicking off this month, Xbox is opening up their world to inspire and support the next generation of women leaders in gaming. More details will follow mid- March.”
From leadership to on the screen, women should be represented at every level of gaming.
