Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) raised $3.4 million USD for the Prevent Cancer Foundation this past weekend. For the semi-annual video game speedrun charity marathon, it’s most it has ever raised since its debut in 2010.
AGDQ first announced via Twitter the amount was $3,416,729 USD.

However, its site mentions a donation total of $3,432,415.85 USD from 49,501 donations sent by 28,088 donors, at the time of publication of this post. The option to donate is still available.
The livestreamed event via Twitch featured the best speedrunners. In one of the many events, speedrunner Mitchriz completed Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice while blindfolded in just over two hours.
On Twitter, AGDQ shared a video about ¡Celebremos la Vida! (Let’s Celebrate Life!), a program of the Spanish Catholic Center in Washington, DC, that provides education and screening to underserved Hispanic women 40 and over.
