Sony Interactive Entertainment announced yesterday its acquisition of Seattle-based game developer Valkyrie Entertainment.
The developer is also a “provider of high-quality art services for the games industry since 2002.”
Hermen Hulst, Head of PlayStation Studios, welcomed Valkyrie Entertainment via Twitter.

According to its press release, Valkyrie Entertainment becomes the 17th studio for PlayStation Studios.
SIE has been in an acquisition spree lately. It acquired Housemarque [], and other four developers in the last 12 months.
