Next-gen updates for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 delayed until 2022

CD Projekt Red announced today the next-gen updates for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 will be delayed until 2022.

The next-gen updates apply to the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S versions of both titles.

“Based on recommendations supplied by teams supervising the development of both games, we decided to postpone their releases until 2022,” says the tweet.

Though the company’s tweet doesn’t mention a specific date for the mentioned updates, it does says the one for Cyberpunk 2077 is coming during the quarter of 2022. For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it will be n the second quarter of 2022.
