Capcom announced today the Nintendo Switch version of Monster Hunter Rise will not support cross-save / cross-play.
While this feature is becoming more common in the game industry with titles such as Apex Legends, Fortnite, and many others, many fans on Twitter have expressed their disappointment.
Here’s the message shared by Capcom via its @monsterhunter account on Twitter:
“We’ve heard your requests for Cross-Save / Cross-Play for #MHRise & #Sunbreak, but unfortunately, after looking into it throughout the development process, we found we are unable to implement it this time. As always, we appreciate your continued feedback and support.”

For fans who enjoy the game and also want to play it on PC, they would have to start the adventure from the very beginning again on PC.
This announcement comes just three months before the arrival of the game to PC via Steam on January 12, 2022.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is alco coming to Switch and PC via Steam during Summer 2022.
