Today, Media Molecule announced the LittleBigPlanet PS3 and PS Vita servers have been shut down for good. The decision to close the servers is bad news for owners of LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet 3 on PS3 and LittleBigPlanet on PS Vita.
The permanent shutdown by Media Molecules comes after the servers suffered a DDOS attack by hackers in March. The attack to the servers was the reason Media Molecule disabled them.
The PS4 version of LittleBigPlanet 3 was affected as well. However, Media Molecule released recently Game Update 1.27 and “brought the LittleBigPlanet server (and all 10,000,000+ Community Levels!!) back online for PlayStation 4 users!”

Owners of LBP3 (PS3) can get their community content on the PS4 version of the game. Unfortunately, it’s the end of online services for the earlier titles.
