Remedy Entertainment Director Sam Lake announced today the return of novelist Alan Wake in Alan Wake Remastered, coming to multiple platforms this Fall.
The 2010 classic title is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and the Epic Games Store on Windows.
The return of Alan Wake is made possible to various platforms with the support of Epic Games Publishing.
Sam Lake made the announcement at the Alan Wake community website called The Sudden Stop (alanwake.info).
“The remaster is coming because of your support for Alan Wake through the years. That is why we felt it was fitting to make this announcement here, at The Sudden Stop, which has been an integral part of the Remedy community since back in 2012, when it started out as an Alan Wake fansite.”
The original title was released exclusively for Xbox 360 in 2010 and released later on PC in 2012. This will be the first time PlayStation fans will be able uncover the mystery about the disappearance of Alan’s wife in the town of Bright Falls.
Alan West Remastered will feature 4K graphics and include the two expansions plus new commentary by writer Sam Lake.
Remedy obtained the Alan Wake rights from Microsoft in 2019, the same year the developer released Control.
We can't thank you enough for the love and support you've shown #AlanWake these 11 years… but I can try.
I wrote you a letter on our lovely, long-time fan site, @TheSuddenStop.
