The King of Fighters XV: Ash Crimson trailer and screenshots

SNK released a character trailer and screenshots for Ash Crimson, a powerful character returning in The King of Fighters XV.

The character, voiced by Sounosuke Nagashiro, was first revealed for KOF XV during the Gamescom 2021 Opening Night Live event hosted by Geoff Keighley. The Gamescom video first showed four characters Kyo Kusanagi, Shun’ei, Ash Crimson and K’ as the upcoming fighters. K’ hasn’t gotten a KOF XV trailer yet.

Ash Crimson first made his debut as a playable character in KOF 2003 and again in KOF XI, KOF XII, and KOF XIII. Though he was absent in KOF XIV, the game’s story hinted the character’s returned in a future title.

The style Ash uses is based on the martial art called Savate, a French kickboxing combat sport. Along with his fighting style, he makes use of his acrobatic and fire (pyrokinesis) abilities. Though his birthplace remains unknown, Ash was raised in France.
