The 2011 action game El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is coming to Steam on Sept. 2, game developer Crim announced today.
The new trailer introduces fans to the digital novel “Lucifer’s Fall” and other content that will be available for a discount for the first two weeks of release. The bonus novel, exclusive for the Steam version, tells fans about events that happen after the end of the game.
Other content include:
- An artbook PDF file with 90+ pages about the world of El Shaddai.
A soundtrack which includes a total of 61 songs.
During the first two weeks of release, fans can get the game and DLC for $39.25 (aka El Shaddai Deluxe Pack), almost half the price. So, even with a 19% discount for the game, it’s just almost $7 more for all the content.

A game controller is required to play the game on PC, according to the game info on Steam.
The game received mostly good reviews from websites such as Eurogamer, Game informer, GamePro and GameSpot.
