Streets of Rage 4 Mr. X Nightmare DLC announced for July 15

Dotemu announced today the Streets of Rage 4 Mr. X Nightmare DLC is coming to a console near you starting July 15, 2021.

Besides the three new playable characters, fans will soon see and play the new Survival Mode and brand-new weapons. One of the weapons seems a lot like a lightsaber.

In Survival Mode, players pick their favorite character to enter a simulation and test their skills. Once the simulation begins, gamers can battle groups of enemies. Players can also earn perks, upgrade character, create cool combos, and use new moves. Up to four players can enter the simulation.

In a previous announcement, the developers mentioned the arrival of character customization and original music from composer and arranger Tee Lopes.

The upcoming DLC will cost $7.99 USD and will be available on PS4, Switch, Xbox One, Steam (PC), GOG, and Windows Store.
