During the second day of the Final Fantasy Digital Fan Festival 2021, Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy XIV PS5 version will start officially on May 25 along with Patch 5.5.
The PS5 version of FFXIV will come with the following features: Faster load times, 4K resolution support, high resolution UI, DualSense haptic feedback support, 3d audio support, and new trophies.

Meanwhile, fans will be seeing the following in Patch 5.5: Save the Queen updates, YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse epilogue quests, Reward for collecting all Triple Triad cards, and Part 2 of the Death Unto Dawn scenario.
