505 Games to develop a new game with MercurySteam

Digital Bros. announced today its subsidiary 505 Games will develop and publish a brand-new video game alongside MercurySteam Entertainment.

According to the company’s financial results, the new game will be coming to PC and consoles. No details of the game were given.

Fans may already be familiar with games made by MercurySteam. The Spanish game developer is known for its work on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and its sequel Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate. It also co-developed Metroid: Samus Returns with Nintendo EPD.

Before the end of 2020, Nordisk Games acquired a 40% stake in MercurySteam based in Madrid. It has also acquired Avalanche Studios and other Nordic companies.
