NetEase Games and 11 Bit Studios: Frostpunk Mobile is coming to iOS and Android

NetEase Games and 11 Bit Studios announced Frostpunk Mobile is coming later this year.

The online games division of NetEase announced yesterday it is working with game developer and publisher 11 Bit Studios S.A. to bring the title to iOS and Android devices.

The city-building survival game lets people play the role of the leader of the last city on Earth. As The Captain, one has to build the city and keep it warm, gather resources, make the law and explore the unknown in this late 19th century post-apocalypse society.

The game has been ported to different platforms slowly. It was first released on Windows 10 in April 2018. Frostpunk was later released on PS4 and XB1 in October 2019.

“Frostpunk Mobile perfectly brings this post-apocalypse society survival experience to mobile,” says the press release. “In the meantime, Frostpunk Mobile will continue to explore the meaning of humanity – where does it stand between life and death; and the thin line that separates an organized society from an inhumane disorder.”

NetEase will announce the detailed release timeline of Frostpunk Mobile on May 20 at its Annual Product Launch Event.
