Today, Epic Games announced Brazilian soccer player Neymar Jr. will be coming to Fortnite on April 27 (tomorrow).
Neymar Jr. (full name: Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior) will become the first playable athlete ever to appear in the extremely popular game Fortnite.
To welcome Neymar Jr. in Fortnite on Chapter 2 Season 6 Battle Pass, players will be able to:
- Participate in new missions: The new Fortnite missions will unlock different accessories related to Neymar and, finally, his new outfit, both the “Exhibition Form” appearance in real life and his new “Primal” form that is activated through his iconic “Shh” gesture
- Explore a new Fortnite Creative Hub: Paris is coming to Fortnite! This week the Fortnite Creative Hub, through which millions of players pass every day, will be inspired by Paris and football to recognize Neymar’s current team in France
- Play in Neymar’s “Crazy Playground”: Built by the Fortnite community in Fortnite Creative Mode, a new, more casual mode of play with teams of 8 members fighting casually.
- Compete in the Neymar Cup: A new tournament in Fortnite that will give the winners custom football boots.
The 29-year-old soccer star is currently playing in France for Paris Saint-Germain.
