Hasbro and Robosen introduce a $699 self-transformable Optimus Prime Robot

Robosen Robotics announced the first-ever self-transformable Optimus Prime robot in conjunction with Hasbro.

Though it is officially known as the TRANSFORMERS Optimus Prime Auto-Converting Programmable Advanced Robot – Collector’s Edition, it is an amazing toy that fans of the original cartoon may have wished to have.

The toy robot can understand voice commands, transform from a vehicle to a robot and vice versa. It can also be programmable and controlled via an app.

According to HasbroPulse.com, the robot offers the following features:

• Optimus Prime is equipped with 80 sound effects, voiced by the original voice of the Autobot leader, with genuine “converting” sounds, as you watch and interact with Optimus Prime.
