The upcoming animated series for children marks the return of Mulgrew to a Star Trek program since Star Trek: Voyager.
Mulgrew also posted the image on Twitter to share it with her fans.

Star Trek: Prodigy takes place in the year 2383, after the events of Star Trek: Voyager.
In this animated series, a group of teenagers have to unite and learn how to use an abandoned starship. Captain Janeway will appear as the ship’s hologram.
The first 10-episode season will be available on Paramount+ and will later be televised on Nickelodeon.
Also, Paramount+ announced Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 2 will start on August 12 in the US.
