King returns in The King of Fighters XV

SNK Playmore announced the return of female fighter King to The King of Fighters XV.

As the 12th revealed character, King specializes in Muay Thai fighting style. However, she makes use of her aerial, kicking techniques that are seldom used in Muay Thai to defeat her rivals. Because of her talent, she earned the nickname “The Beautiful Kick’s Illusion” (美しき蹴撃のイリュージョン, Utsukushiki Shūgeki no Iryūjon).

For fans not familiar with this fighter, King made his appearance in the first Art of Fighting game as the only playable female character. King now joins Yashiro Nanakase, Terry Bogard, and others.

Harumi Ikoma will once again be the voice of King in KOF XV. She has been the voice of the female fighter since Art of Fighting was released in 1992.
