Microsoft has recently added Xbox language tags to game pages for fans to know if titles offered on Xbox consoles are available in their preferred languages.
The new yet long-requested feature is now available on the Microsoft Store on Xbox consoles and the Xbox Game Pass mobile apps.
For Xbox owners, it is now simple to find out what specific content is available in languages such as Spanish, Greek, or Japanese. When looking at the product page of certain games, gamers can see if there is specific content in their preferred language for in-game interface (on-screen menus, game controls, etc.), audio and subtitles.
The Xbox language tags have already been added to hundreds of games. Microsoft will continue updating more titles “across 27 languages.”
“The addition of language tags to the Microsoft Store on Xbox and in the Xbox Game Pass app on consoles is an important step toward our goal of making you and your friends feel at home when you play on Xbox. This update will make that easier, and help bring the joys of gaming to more people.”
