Razer announced today its first-ever eyewear product known as the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses.
The USD$199.99 smart glasses for gamers provides protections for users with 35% for blue light filtering lenses and 99% for UVA/UVB sunglass lenses.
The built-in features includes an omnidirectional microphone, touch controls, headphones and a battery lasting 5+ hours after a single charge. When not in use, the device can be on standby for up to two weeks.
Prospective owners will be able to control music they listen to, manage calls, and activate the phone’s voice assistant. Apps for iOS and Android devices will let users check battery status, download firmware updates, and control EQ adjustments.
According to Razer, a Bluetooth 5.1 connection specially made for Anzu will provide a low “60ms latency for smooth, stutter-free sound.”
Frames will be available in different styles and sizes and feature a water-resistant IPX4 design. That way, users who are working out or were caught by the rain won’t have a problem against splashes.
