T-Mobile Magenta Max Unlimited 55 offers unlimited 5G data and Netflix Standard plan

Earlier in the week, the new T-Mobile Magenta MAX Unlimited 55 was announced, offering people 55 and older more benefits than before.

Under the new plan, customers will receive “unlimited premium data” in addition to 40GB for mobile hotspot and unlimited 4K UHD streaming.

Also in this plan, Scam Shield Premium (free caller ID), unlimited texting and unlimited Wi-Fi via Gogo In-Flight, and unlimited texting and data at twice the data speeds.

The standard Magenta Unlimited 55 caps the premium data to 100GB and mobile hotspot at 5GB, while offering unlimited SD streaming video quality and 1 hour of unlimited texting and Wi-Fi via Gogo In-Flight.

When it comes to streaming services, T-Mobile includes Netflix Basic “on all family plans” in the regular plan. For the new Magenta MAX plan, users will receive Netflix Basic “on single line plans” and Netflix Standard on all family plans.

Under both plans, users still get unlimited talk, text and data along with 5GB of high-speed data for services in Canada and Mexico.
