Riot Games announced today Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is coming to current and next-gen consoles and PC early 2021.
Ruined King, developed by Airship Syndicate, is a single-player, turn-based RPG title, with legendary comic book artist Joe Madureira in charge. It’s the first title to be published by Riot Forge, the publishing label within Riot Games.
This title will help expand the entire League of Legends franchise with its release on consoles for the very first time. There is also League of Legends: Wild Rift, a mobile version of LoL, which started its regional open beta just four days ago. League of Legends made its debut on Windows and macOS in 2009.
“Ruined King is a great way to expand the world of Runeterra for brand new players as well as our dedicated League of Legends fans,” said Leanne Loombe, Head of Riot Forge. “Ruined King will be the first single-player game to bring the LoL universe to both consoles and PC. We are excited to take this plunge into exploring stories and champions that players have enjoyed over the years, and can’t wait for our players to embark on this new adventure with us.”
