After the announcement of Ubisoft Connect last week, Ubisoft today said its subscription gaming service UPlay+ will soon be called Ubisoft+.
Under the new name starting November 10, Ubisoft+ will become a multi-platform subscription service available on Amazon Luna (with a beta version), and later on Stadia.
With the current $14.99 monthly subscription, fans will not need to pay extra to play on both services.
Stadia users will not need to subscribe to Stadia Pro to use Ubisoft+, meaning signing up to the free version of Stadia is all they need. By year’s end, Ubisoft+ subscribers will be playing Ubisoft titles on Stadia.
Also, Ubisoft+ subscribers will be able to request and obtain an invite to Luna to link their accounts.
Whether Ubisoft+ fans choose Google Stadia or Amazon Luna, they’ll have access to more than a hundred games, including premium editions of Immortals Fenyx Rising, Watch Dogs: Legion.
Players will also have the ability to pick up where they left off in some titles thanks to “cross-platform progression.” That means, fans could play Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in their smartphone during their break at work, and continue playing on their PC at home.
