The Funimation app is coming on launch day for PS5

Funimation informed fans its app is coming to the PS5 on launch date, joining other apps Sony mentioned via its blog post.

Via PlayStation.Blog, Sony announced on Thursday a lineup of streaming apps coming to the PS5. The Funimation app was not mentioned.

However, it didn’t take long for Funimation to inform anime fans on the availability of its app.

Sony did say there are more streaming apps coming to its next-generation console. Certain apps (such as Twitch and YouTube) will be deeply integrated into the PS5.
