Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle makes the classic a 64-player battle royale on Google Stadia

Google announced today the arrival of Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle demo to Stadia.

The 64-player battle royale game is being developed by Heavy Iron Studios. It takes the 4-player Pac-Man Battle Royale game from 2011 to a whole new level. What makes this Pac-Man game different from others is that players can “invade other players’ mazes, eat their dots and power-ups – even other players! – and dominate the mazes!”

Each of the 64 players start in a series of “64 interconnected mazes.” Once players start the game, they can either play or watch others play. Plus, there’s an option to customize Pac-Man with skins.

This demo will only be available until 12 noon ET on Oct. 27, 2020. After that day and time, this Pac-Man demo will no longer be available on players’ Stadia library. The full game will be on sale on November 17, 2020, for USD$19.99 or €19.99.
