PlayStation 5 Showcase scheduled for Sept. 16

In a short and important post, Sony announced the PlayStation 5 Showcase on Sept. 16.

“Before PlayStation 5 launches this holiday, we wanted to give you one more look at some of the great games coming to PS5 at launch (and beyond!),” wrote Sid Shuman, Sr. Director at SIE Content Communications.

“Our next digital showcase will weigh in at around 40 minutes, and feature updates on the latest titles from Worldwide Studios and our world-class development partners.”

The 40-minute presentation will be seen via Twitch and YouTube at 1pm PDT / 4pm EDT.

This announcement comes just days after rival Microsoft announced the launch date and prices for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

It was back in June, after months of waiting, when Sony showed off the PlayStation 5, the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, and many games developers are working on.
