Via its Corporate Report 2020, Sony announced its gaming division is planning to bring more of its first-party titles to PC.
Sony Interactive Entertainment saw success after the release of Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition and Death Stranding on PC, and it sees this opportunity as a way to increase its financial gains.
“We will explore expanding our 1st-party titles to the PC platform, in order to promote further growth in our profitability,” says Sony as part of its strategic direction.
While it’s highly unlikely that Sony will bring many of its exclusive titles to PC gaming platforms such as Steam and Epic Games Store, it may pick the games it sees best for the PC audience.
Sony did not mention in its corporate report what specific games it is planning to port to PC.
One of the games already being planned to be published on rival gaming platforms Xbox and Nintendo is MLB The Show, though it hasn’t been announced for PC.
