Earlier today, Amazon’s premium gaming service Twitch Prime got a new name: Prime Gaming. It comes with the same benefits as Twitch Prime but its new name is now more tied to the company’s other services, like Prime Reading, Prime Photos and Prime Video.
The Twitch Prime URL (twitch.amazon.com) now links to gaming.amazon.com. Though nothing has changed besides the name, the service offers new games, in-game loots, and the monthly premium Twitch goods (channel subscription, chat badges, and emotes).
According to Amazon, there are more than 150 million users subscribed to Prime to take advantage of the company’s various services.
For gamers, Amazon is offering more than 20 free games this month, including Metal Slug 2, SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, and Treachery in Beatdown City.
