Thank you followers for keeping up with El Mundo Tech as it turns 12. Almost every day I keep testing the website with features to make it easier to use, and with a long list of more things to try out.
Even during this pandemic, which delayed some of my plans here, I still have been able to do things here and with my friends at LuckyXCentral Productions, which will soon have its website.
About this website, I’m updating blog posts because of my decision of replacing Yoast SEO with Rank Math SEO. Also, UserWay has also been added for additional Accessibility purposes.
I’m also testing AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) and PWA (Progressive Web App) here.
For mobile users, AMP will let your favorite browser show a post very quickly, though it looks somewhat different that the typical desktop and regular mobile views. It’s easy to change to the regular mobile view.
About PWA, if you use Chrome or another Chrome-based browser like Brave on a desktop, you may see an “Install El Mundo Tech” when you click on a plus sign inside a circle in the URL bar on your desktop PC. It works offline. I’m still trying to find a way to have that same feature activated for the Spanish version of the site.
Another way of getting updates can also be via Telegram, so check out https://t.me/elmundotech.
An iOS Shortcut for the EMT RSS feed is also on the way. Just pick the language and that’s it.
Keep checking for more updates here at El Mundo Tech.
