Area F2 has been removed from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store and has gone offline as well.
After game developer Ubisoft complained to Google and Apple about the availability of Ejoy.com’s Area F2 at their app stores, Ubisoft filed suit on May 15 at a district court in California. As of today, Area F2 is no longer available.
Ejoy, a subsidiary of Chinese giant Alibaba, published two posts today about the closure of the online gaming, without mentioning anything about the removal of the game on iOS and Android.
According to the Service Closure Announcement page, the team is “carrying out improvements to Area F2 in order to deliver a better experience to players. Thus, we will terminate the service of the current version at 12:00 PM on 20 May 2020 (GMT+0).”
On the Service Closure Announcement for Players page, the team says players can apply for a refund according to the return policy of the platform they’ve used. For any other methods, Ejoy says players can contact the service provider.
Also, online events have been terminated earlier today.
Customer service will be available until June 20th (GMT +0).
