According to Forbes, the free-to-play MMO game Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming to Windows PC on May 27th in North America.
The upcoming PC version of PSO2 will offer cross-platform play with Xbox One.
The Xbox One version left Open Beta on April 15 and became the first English-language version of PSO2 since its original Japanese launch in July 4, 2012 for Windows.
The Japanese version of PSO2 has been ported over to PlayStation Vita (2013), PlayStation 4 (2016) and Nintendo Switch (2018).
Sega will bring the game to the Microsoft Store exclusively.
“There’s a loud and passionate PC fanbase who has been patiently waiting for the North American version – we can’t wait to welcome them in. There will be login bonuses waiting for them with more surprises planned in the coming months,” said said Fred White, Head of Marketing at PSO2 TEAM North America.
Another Forbes post says the North American PC release of the game is not region-locked.
The time to #JoinARKS is finally revealed. Phantasy Star Online 2, one of Japan's biggest online action RPGs, arrives on Windows 10 next week, on May 27th.
