GDC Summer is coming in August

The Game Developers Conference has been rescheduled for August under the name GDC Summer, from August 4-6 at the Moscone Center in the city of San Francisco.

“Taking place August 4-6, GDC Summer will be a three-day celebration of all things game development. Featuring multi-disciplinary educational and inspirational talks and a freestyle two-day show floor (August 5-6), GDC Summer represents a unique opportunity for developers to get up to speed on advances in the field while mixing and mingling in sunny San Francisco. Don’t wait until next March to drive your career and business forward!,” says the post.

Though it won’t be the five-day event the developers are accustomed to, GDC Summer will have micro-talks and chats, ‘career development’ sessions, and round-table discussions.

Informa PLC is bringing GDC Summer with its key partners to make this a reality.

Registration is not available quite yet but the prices for passes are.
